The Martial Unity

Chapter 2594: Demonstration

Chapter 2594: Demonstration

Master Brigsby was one of the many Masters with whom Rui had fought in the Great East Panamic War. He had been sent to kill Rui with a squad of other powerful high-grade Masters.

He had failed, like all those who came before him.

However, the reason for his failure was that Rui rendered his light beam snipes to be useless

with the simple principles of refraction. The man had yet to understand how Rui had dismantled his Martial Art.

As far as Rui was concerned, it was entirely due to the fact that the man didn't possess a theoretical understanding of what refraction was.

Rui sought to fill up his lack of understanding of this principle and how it could be used to negate or amplify his martial art.

His eyes widened with shock as he parsed through all the information he had. "This..."

"It won't be easy to study up on everything that I have given to all of you, but..." Rui met their shocked eyes with a firm gaze. "You have years before it is time for all of you to take the mantle of being the primary protectors of the Britannian Empire. In that time, I expect all of you to have mastered what I have bestowed upon you and elevated to a higher level. It is possible for the Britannian Empire to gain multiple new peak Masters when the time for the departure of the Sages comes."

In that moment, they couldn't help but wash away their hostility towards the Dawnbringer. The Era of Darkness had much to do with that, of course.

It had been much, much more painful to all of them than the Great East Panamic War. The trauma of watching savage beasts and monsters kill many millions of Britannians in the blink of an eye was far, far deeper than anything the war had done to them.

Thus, the Dawnbringer offering them the power they needed to overcome this gigantic mental and Martial hurdle was greater than any hostility they had for their former enemy.

"You have my gratitude, Prince Rui." The man nodded with severity and gratitude. "I shall repay this debt, that I swear to you as a Master Knight."

Rui nodded, sweeping his gaze across the rest of them. "The same goes for all of you, I have bestowed a part of my knowledge that is relevant to each of your Martial Art. Study hard,, and you should be able to elevate your mastery to a much higher level."

Martial Artists relied on intuition, instinct, and experience when it came to high principles. This meant that with theoretical knowledge, they would have both a theoretical and intuitive understanding of the high principles.

It qualitatively enhances their power.

It would also allow them to perhaps be a threat to him in the future, serving as fuel for his

own ascent.

Regardless, he had completed his commitment to the Britannian Empire. It turned out that when he didn't self-hypnotize himself to fight a Sage under Gigabrain or train for a month, he could get things done pretty quickly.

"Where did you get all this knowledge from?" Master Brigsby couldn't control his curiosity.

Rui shrugged. "I don't know why I know all this."

That was technically true.

He didn't know why memories of another man from another world had been placed into his mind. Regardless, he had the knowledge, and it was something that he had gotten away with.

"How does one apply this knowledge in battle...?" one Master murmured with a hint of confusion. "I don't understand how all these complicated formulae can help me create a new technique."

Much to Rui's surprise, this sentiment appeared to be common among the Masters. They scratched their hint with a hint of confusion as to how these techniques could help them enhance their Martial Art directly.

Only then did Rui recall how divergent he was as a Martial Artist. Most Martial Artists developed techniques with intuition, instinct, and experience. They did not formulate techniques in the systematic and objective manner that he did.

This meant they essentially had no experience in systematically turning theoretical knowledge into applied principles in techniques.

"I don't have the time to teach you how to do this, you will have to figure it out yourselves," Rui shrugged before falling into thought. "Although..."

He turned back to all of them with a hint of thought. "I could give you a demonstration."

They turned eager at his words.

"Good. Now then, get ready. I will be attacking all of you."

They stiffened at his words. "Pardon?"

CRACK CRACK

Rui cracked his knuckles and his neck, offering them an obvious expression. "What did you think I meant when I said demonstration?"

His expression and tone were entirely composed.

And yet, the Masters felt chills go down their spines.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"You guys are the demonstration." Rui's tone shivers across their skin. "I will beat it into you properly."

"Actually, I just realized I figured out!" Master Brigsby exclaimed with renewed excitement.

"Me too! It just struck me!"

"Yes, I, too, have gained enlightenment in this regard!"

"That's good to hear." Rui nodded.

They heaved a sigh of relief.

"But I will do the demonstration for good measure nonetheless." He leaped out of all of them in the blink of an eye, activating his Realms of power.

"Wai-AH!!!"

"SAVE US!"

"YOUR SAGEHOODS!"

Unfortunately, they experienced true betrayal as the Sage Knights never came to their rescue. Rui activated the Forge of Creation as he thoroughly beat them soundly with the brand-new techniques created with the principles that he had passed on to all of them.

It was an ungodly session of bullying.

He used his Embodiment to paralyze all those who tried to run away while bullying the remaining half who were just strong enough to withstand his Embodiment with techniques

based on the principles that he had given them.

Thereby, he demonstrated how these principles could be converted into techniques and how

those techniques could be applied.

And thus, their education continued for half a day.
