"He doesn't seem in agony. Did you give him the correct things!" Brighton asked.

"I don't make rookie mistakes?" Jura said with a frown, "but it's strange for him to be nonchalant!"

"Maybe he is one of those that do not feel pain?"

"No. He does. But his pain threshold is just off the chart!" Jura said. "But even with that, the medos blood has a nasty way of making humans suffer for vengeance!"

While he two were conversing, Seth was having his own internal monologue. One of the things he focused on was the use of Luck Providence which has an ethereal role to play on what had happened to him.

Suddenly, as if all the heat in his head were poured toward his neck. His blood vessels and flesh around the neck quiver before they pushed something out.

A blaze of green fire out enough to engulf the room. Old man Jura raised his hand to grab it but then a suction force appeared on Seth's chest before the flames vanished.

It's not minor immunity but a good immunity.

But for some reason, his neck retains a scar of a sutures.

"Mark of immunity!"

"You have a very good Will!" Jura said with a smile.

'Maybe it was able to do that because it evolved after I face that creature'

Seth thought but didn't answer the old man that was walking forward.

They left Old man Jura clinic and went ahead.

They reached another building, where Seth was asked to sit and wait while the old man moved ahead into a corridor. Minutes later he was back with a woman that white hair and white skin.

She doesn't look like human due to her skin.

She was tall, slender, her face slim and she stared at Seth with arrogance, her hand on her waist.

"You faced SME 125th, I was told!" She asked condescendingly. Seth on the other hand looked toward the old man, wondering what this was all about.

"Show her your face!" Old man Brighton said with a rueful smile.

Seth understood what was happening here. The woman was a noble and she expected Seth to show some respect and fawning.

However meeting a boy with air of 'dosn't give a fuck' made her not pleased at all.

Seth removed his mask and she took a deep breath and her arrogant face softened a bit and asked with warriness, "Do you feel like you want to kill yourself?"

Seth stared at her with one lid and one lidless eyes confused.

"That is the side effect of SME 125 Medos."

Seth shook his head.

"This is exasperating. Here, hold this, it will try to make your skin regenerate!" She handed Seth a bottom that was made from glass.

The moment he held it, his face began to burn before brown smoke came out. Seth felt his muscles wiggling and growing. The feeling was both disgusting and painful but Seth has face worse.

Soon, his facial muscles were back to normal before it began to drip with blood. The blood flowed out and swirled beside him before he slipped it through his attire into the Red Book.

This continued for about an hour before skin began to grow.

It doesn't feel like his face, it felt as if he put linon material on his face. He touched it and it was burning pain and also about to be ripped off.

"Can you tell us what happened?" This time it was the old man that asked the question.

Before the woman said, "Medos wounds are incredibly hard to heal especially those that lived for about a century. SME 125 has fed on dragons remains and numerous humans when it was Menos. This made the wound extremely dangerous and hard to heal."

"Especially, your face seemed to have been bitten off. His fangs held more venom than his claws and any part of his body!"

Seth still stared at them. As if he doesn't understand what they were saying. The woman took a deep breath before she invited them in.

They were taken to a large empty library with numerous shelves filled with books. Seth sat on a lush couch, before him was white oak table with drinks and some fruit.

Nightmare Forest was great, Seth didn't even glance their way because their essence was lackluster compared to what he consumed in his forest.

The woman went across the shelves and brought a copy of a book and placed it before him.

There was a name and number they assigned to the Medos and also his depiction. It was exactly the one Seth had faced.

But then she placed more books and he saw about five of them all are the same and he realized the one he thought was the one wasn't.

he took one of the books, this one a bit different but Seth can't be deluded with painting and images. This was the one that he faced, even though it looked different.

"That one is 213 years old. The others came after it and were all killed and fed by it." She said and Seth opened for the book.

The face Seth choose it made them believe he indeed faced it and also survived it.

The medos age and place of sightings and also expected abilities and level of intelligence was recorded.

Through the book Seth learned about the naming and ranking system of the Medos.

All Medos that have great Mental capabilities that make them intelligent like humans or closed were termed ME [Mind Eaters].

Usually, they crave to feed on creatures with the same characteristics, humans and other intelligent creatures to grow. Among them the Human Medos was born.

The S in SME 125 term referred to Sanity.

When the creature injured their prey, the victim will become insane, lose their mind. The Medos SME 125 has the ability to dictate how its victims acts and sometimes fully control them.

Using that ability it was able to tame Beasts and other creatures. But humans have some resistance to it control and so they just go mad.

Seth read about its other abilities and what it had done. One of which was it had stole a human child and raising it as his own before the boy became an errand boy that stole other children for it.

The boy, though, was captured but not killed and then trained to hunt it back.

Some still believe the Medos has other human children that it trained for its own purpose but was hiding them for now.

'No wonder this thing came after me. Even though I cut it hand, I believe it is evolving more powerful than it has been'

Seth's face creased in frowns. He put down and read the other books. Each one of them has telekinesis as power and feeds on intelligent creatures.

Some of them can cause hypnosis and one can control gravity.

"Some Medos can acquire abilities from other Medos they feed on them. But the majority discard it because it usually clash with what they already have."

"Your face is healing already, the best remedy is gradual recovery rather than giving you something that will stimulate the place!"

Seth was silent for sometime before he brought out E Rank ank Canvas. He spread it and his hand rub on it from one edge to another. He then brought out different colors and smeared them.

Immediately, they moved and painted the aura. The image became vivid, showing Seth standing before his cart and the surrounding place.

Suddenly, everything began to play in Seth's perspective before it expanded and became third person observation.

The images then came out of the canvas and continued to play like a 4D view movie.

The whole fight only lasted about 5 minutes both as the story he showed and also as the real fight that happened.

He also made sure to show the creature's ability well, from its right hand to its left legs and other markings the creature has.

Though he blurred some of his abilities, even though that wasn't required.

"I think this is his true ability!" Seth for the first time spoke and his voice appeared deep with power in it. Even he was surprised by the change.

He was showing them the pulse that suppressed his mind for a few seconds.

"That can't be right!" Brighton said. "Numerous people have faced it and almost got it killed but never has it shown this ability. He may have acquired them like those Blessed Tattoo Marks!"

"Why do you say it's his true ability?" The white woman was curious about Seth's opinion as one of her children that survived its encounter said something similar.

"Because I blank away."

She was confused before she smiled. "Do you have incredible mental fortitude?" She asked, realizing his answer was made out of arrogance.

"Yes. My mind is unbreakable but it was able to make me dizzy for a moment by suppressing my mind." Seth said with a straight face.

He then added, "It has been watching me for a long time. Making Beasts and Monsters to follow me all the time and it only struck when I was the weakest!"
