Reincarnation Paradise

Chapter 922: Gourmet Paradise

The group walked through the large open space on the first floor and headed toward the stairs leading to the second floor, where the seal had already been lifted. Following behind the Wolf Butler, Su Xiao felt like he passed through a thin membrane as he stepped onto the stairs.

As soon as he passed through the membrane, an exotic fragrance hit his nose, arousing his appetite and making his stomach growl.

"The second floor must be related to gourmet food. I like it," Pi Pang said, chewing on some meat, but it did nothing to quell his hunger.

"It smells so good. Just the scent makes me hungry," Catwoman said, licking the pads of her hands, her stomach also growling.

"This isn't good," the bespectacled man said, pushing up his glasses.

After the group ascended the stairs, they saw the situation on the second floor.

Compared to the first floor, the second floor was much smaller, only a few hundred square meters. The room was filled with long dining tables laden with food that Su Xiao had never seen before, but they looked incredibly appetizing.

If it weren't for being in the Demon Castle, Su Xiao would have thought he had walked into a buffet restaurant.

"Welcome to the second floor of the Demon Castle, Gourmet Paradise," the Wolf Butler said, making an inviting gesture like a butler serving a medieval noble. However, he wasn't inviting Su Xiao and the others but rather someone else.

A golden door on the inner side of the second floor opened, and a woman in a white long dress walked out. She had long, wavy golden hair, a tall figure, and fair, delicate skin.

As soon as the woman appeared, everyone, including Su Xiao, turned their gaze towards her.

The moment he saw her, Su Xiao felt a bit dazed and had an uncontrollable urge to abduct her.

The bespectacled man's eyes glazed over, and he looked like he wanted to kneel before his queen.

The thoughts of the two men were worlds apart.

Even the female Catwoman and the detective loli felt an instinctive desire to be close to this woman.

A few seconds later, Su Xiao regained his composure, and soon after, the other contractors also returned to normal.

This woman was too special, exuding an aura that wasn't metaphorical but real. Her skin emitted a soft, golden glow, and her every movement gave a sense of warmth and comfort.

"Welcome to my castle," the woman said in a gentle voice.

Hearing this, Su Xiao tensed up. This woman was Alice. Apart from her other abilities, her charm was something even his Mind Blade couldn't resist.

Was the queen of the Demon Castle, Alice, only skilled in charm? Of course not; she was the ruler of the castle.

Alice's early appearance surprised Su Xiao; he hadn't expected her to show up so soon.

"Your Majesty," the Wolf Butler said, kneeling on one knee with a respectful expression.

"I am just a projection, Wolf Butler, no need for formalities," Alice said gently.

"Yes." The Wolf Butler stood up and quickly walked behind Alice. This wasn't Alice's true form but a projection or clone.

"Brave ones, no need to be so cautious. The castle's existence isn't for my personal amusement. This is a place where the strong are born. In the future, I might need your help. Outside the castle, I'm just a weak woman. So for the second game, I'll be your host. Surely, you have no objections?" Alice said, clasping her hands in front of her chest, her eyes full of anticipation. ᚱΆŊօ𝖇Ёꞩ

Her words made her seem like a kind and gentle beauty. But was that really the case?

As for Alice hosting the second game, refusal seemed impossible. The Wolf Butler already had the Fate Dominator revolver out, clearly indicating that anyone who refused would be shot.

"It is my honor for Queen Alice to host the game personally. As a gentleman, I would never refuse a lady's request, especially one as beautiful as Alice," the bespectacled man said, smoothly complimenting her.

Alice smiled and walked over to him, wrapping her arm around his. The bespectacled man looked enchanted.

"Flatterer," Alice said, her face turning cold for a moment when she turned away from the others.

"Huh?" The bespectacled man was taken aback.

"Hmm? What's wrong, Mr. Gentleman?" Alice asked, looking at him with a pitiful expression.

"Nothing, nothing at all. I must have been hearing things," he stammered, though his legs were shaking.

"You're quite fortunate," Su Xiao said with a smile, sensing something amiss.

"Indeed, brother, do you want to give it a try?" Pi Pang asked with a lewd grin.

"My life is more important than beauty."

"Agreed."Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Their conversation puzzled the detective loli, who saw the bespectacled man looking deliriously happy and couldn't understand how this related to his life being in danger.

Following Alice's lead, the group reached a round dining table at the center of the room, laden with various dishes and nine seats.

Alice sat at the head of the table, and the others took their seats under the Wolf Butler's 'hospitality.'

"After three days of running around on the first floor, you must be hungry. The second game is for you to enjoy these delicacies. Wolf Butler," Alice said, gesturing to the Wolf Butler, who began dividing the sumptuous feast into nine portions, including one for Alice herself.

A few minutes later, a steak, a dessert, and a goblet appeared before Su Xiao.

Alice stood up, picked up a bottle of wine from the table—red wine—and poured it for each person.

Soon, Alice sat back down, picked up a knife and fork, and began eating, her smile never fading.

Receiving a prompt from Reincarnation Paradise, Su Xiao looked at the food before him: a steak, a dessert, and a half-full glass of red wine. Was the second game simply to eat these items?

Someone had to be the first to 'try the crab,' and that person was Pi Pang.

Pi Pang was calm. Judging by the smell and color, the food was not poisonous, and he sensed no other abnormalities. He picked up his knife and fork, cut a piece of steak, and put it in his mouth to chew slowly.

Suddenly, Pi Pang's eyes widened, and everyone looked at him.

"It's so damn delicious," he exclaimed, swallowing the steak, clearly wanting more.

"You scared me. I thought you were going to drop dead," the detective loli muttered, picking up her knife and fork.

But as Pi Pang prepared to cut another piece of steak, his expression changed dramatically. He quickly took out a glass bottle and poured the liquid inside into his mouth—it was a healing potion...
