My Celestial Ascension

Chapter 641 Give It Up

Teressa stared at Yuan in surprise. She hadn't expected such a bold suggestion, and the unexpectedness of it immediately made her nervous.

After a brief moment of thought, Teressa forced a smile and said, "I'm a mage, so I wouldn't be able to lift something like this easily. How about a Magic Knight Commander try instead? After all, I'm just a weak woman."

Yuan chuckled softly, his eyes narrowing slightly.

"Sure. Bring anyone you like. However, don't complain later if they fail to lift it," he said, his tone pleasant but carrying an unmistakable edge of authority that sent a chill down Teressa's spine.

Too intimidated to argue, Teressa merely nodded, her nervousness evident as she called for assistance.

A few moments later, a Magic Knight Commander arrived at the center of the stadium. His figure was clad in magically enhanced armor, the intricate plating covering him from head to toe, with his face obscured beneath a polished helmet. A massive magical sword hung from his waist, and a powerful aura radiated from his body, exuding dominance.

"Mr. Morris, could you please lend us your strength for a moment and lift the other end of this spear?" Teressa asked, gesturing to the spear Yuan was holding effortlessly with one hand.

"As you wish, Lady Teressa," Mr. Morris replied with a courteous nod. His gaze then shifted to Yuan, scanning him from head to toe.

'Who is this young man? Why can't I sense any mana from him? It's as though he's an ordinary human with no mana at all. And yet, he's lifting that spear effortlessly. Just how is he doing it?' Mr. Morris wondered, his expression hidden beneath his helmet.

Before he could ponder further, Yuan spoke, his tone firm and commanding. "Do it quickly. I don't have time to waste on something so pointless."

The subtle power in Yuan's voice caused Mr. Morris to take an involuntary step back. Recovering quickly, Mr. Morris approached the spear and gripped the end that rested on the ground. With a deep breath, he summoned all his strength and attempted to lift it.

Despite his best efforts, the spear didn't budge. It was as though the end of the spear were fused to the earth itself. Refusing to give up, Mr. Morris channeled mana into his body, enhancing his physical strength, and tried again.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Yet, no matter how much mana he used or how much force he exerted, the spear remained unmoving.

Gasps rippled through the crowd as they watched the Magic Knight Commander—one of the strongest figures in the room—struggle fruitlessly. In stark contrast, Yuan stood there, holding the sharp end of the spear with ease, his expression calm and unbothered.

The stadium was filled with shocked murmurs, disbelief spreading like wildfire. How could this mysterious young man lift the spear so effortlessly when even a seasoned Magic Knight Commander couldn't move it an inch?

"This is unbelievable! How could that young man lift it so easily, while the Magic Knight Commander couldn't even move the other end of the spear?!" someone exclaimed from the crowd, their shocked voice echoing through the stadium.

"That Magic Knight Commander is incredibly powerful, and yet he couldn't even shift the spear slightly from its place. Is this for real?"

"If the spear is so heavy, how did this young man manage to lift it so effortlessly? And he's even smiling as we speak!"

The crowd couldn't help but whisper among themselves. It was almost impossible to believe that the young man holding the spear with one hand, so casually and without effort, was truly that powerful.

Meanwhile, Yuan ignored their doubtful gazes and focused on Mr. Morris, who was still struggling to move the spear, but without success. Yuan smirked at him and said, "Are you done trying? You should know that I don't have all day to stand here waiting for you to succeed."

"No! But give me a few moments—I'll definitely lift this spear!" Mr. Morris insisted, unwilling to give up. He was confident that, with enough effort, he could lift it.

Yuan shook his head, his voice commanding and firm. "Give it up! A mortal like you will never lift a treasure such as this. This weapon weighs as much as a hundred elephants combined."

"What?!" Both Mr. Morris and Teressa gasped in shock, their eyes wide with disbelief as they stared at the weapon.

"I see... so that's the case. No wonder we've been unable to lift it, no matter what methods we tried. This explains everything." Mr. Morris sighed and stepped back, his shoulders slumping in defeat.

Though his face was hidden beneath his helmet, Yuan could easily imagine the expression he wore as he walked away.

"Well, I'll take my leave now. I can't keep my wives waiting, can I?" Yuan said with a confident smile. He grabbed the spear firmly and, in an instant, disappeared from sight.

Whoosh!

The ground where Yuan had stood was cracked, leaving the crowd stunned.

"What just happened?! He vanished!"

The stadium erupted into murmurs, disbelief spreading like wildfire. Everyone was shocked at the sheer impossibility of what they had just witnessed.

Meanwhile, Yuan returned to his VIP room, proudly holding the spear. He showed it off with a broad grin to everyone present. Despite not being spear users, they all admired the weapon.

"This treasure is called the 'Heavenly Thunder Spear'. Pretty cool, right?" Yuan said, glancing at Valeria with a smile. She returned his smile before leaning in and kissing him on the lips.

"This is a beautiful treasure, Yuan. A perfect weapon for my mom. Thank you for getting this for her. I'll pay you back once we return to my villa," Valeria said with a soft smile, brushing her nose against his while wrapping her arms around his neck.

Yuan shook his head, his expression gentle, before kissing her forehead. "You don't need to repay me, Valeria. This is a gift from me to your mother."

"Are you sure about this?" Valeria asked, a concerned look crossing her face. After all, 31 million gold coins wasn't a small amount of money.

"I'm absolutely sure," Yuan replied with a reassuring smile. He then turned toward Vanessa, who was watching him with an equally soft smile.

"Vanessa, what do you think? Do you like this spear?" Yuan asked warmly, handing her the weapon.

Vanessa's eyes sparkled with excitement as she accepted it.

"This is beautiful!" she murmured in awe, carefully examining the spear. However, after a moment, she added hesitantly, "But it's very heavy for me. I don't think I'll be able to use it anytime soon."

"Don't worry. You'll be able to wield it once you reach the Spirit Master realm. For now, you can store it in this ring." Yuan retrieved an unused spatial ring from his system storage and handed it to her.

"What's this?" Vanessa asked curiously, her brow furrowing as she turned the ring over in her hand.

"Mom, that's a spatial ring! We use it to store our belongings," Valeria explained with a smile. She eagerly began walking her mother through how to use it.

Vanessa listened intently, clearly intrigued by the ring and eager to try it for herself.

Meanwhile, as Valeria continued explaining the spatial ring's functionality, Teressa resumed the auction, introducing the next item on the list: a massive magic core from a powerful SS-rank monster.

As soon as the magic core was displayed, a wave of excitement rippled through the crowd. The core, containing a vast reserve of magical energy and mana, was a highly coveted item with countless uses.

In VIP room number 9, however, Aisha sat in stunned disbelief. The moment she saw the young man's appearance, her excitement bubbled over, barely contained.

"Lady Aisha, didn't I tell you he has an uncanny resemblance to Lady Anna Grace? Now that you've seen him with your own eyes, what do you think?" Jones asked, raising a brow and studying her expression with a soft smile.

"Indeed, you're right, Uncle Jones," Aisha said, nodding with a broad grin. "He does look like my big sister. His eyebrows are just like hers, and his chin is strikingly similar."

Her smile widened further, barely able to contain her anticipation. "I can't wait to meet him in person!"

"Lady Aisha, there's a strong possibility that he is Lady Anna Grace's son. After all, it's unlikely for a random person to bear such a striking resemblance to her."

"Absolutely! I'm certain he's my nephew," Aisha said, excitement bubbling in her voice.

"I can't believe I now have a nephew I've never met before." The thought sent butterflies fluttering in her stomach as she imagined spoiling her handsome nephew rotten.

"I'll visit their room as soon as I secure this treasure for myself," she added, casting a quick glance at VIP room number 1 with a soft smile.

"Nine million!" Aisha called out confidently, placing the highest bid for the treasure. To her surprise, no one raised the bid after her.

"Since there are no further bids, this treasure is sold to VIP room number 9 for nine million gold coins! Congratulations!" Teressa announced, her melodious voice echoing through the stadium.

After completing the purchase and arranging the payment, Aisha rose gracefully from her sofa and made her way to the exit. Just before leaving the room, she paused and turned back to address her attendants.

"If something useful or valuable for the family appears, feel free to bid on it. However, do not exceed the 30 million limit under any circumstances—unless the treasure is exceptionally valuable or a Legendary Treasure," she instructed firmly.

With that, Aisha left the room and immediately headed toward VIP room number 1.
