Chapter 292 Heroine's Five Clones
Maris took a deep, steadying breath, centering her energy one final time. With a wave of her hand, the spell surged through her, creating five identical figures standing in front of her. Each one was a perfect copy of herself, yet as the magic settled, she realized they weren't just identical versions of her—they each had their own distinct look and presence.
As Maris examined each clone, she couldn't help but notice the strikingly distinct clothing styles each one had chosen.
The first clone stood out immediately, draped in a wild clash of colors and patterns that almost seemed intentional in its chaotic layering. She wore a skirt striped with vivid reds and purples over leggings printed with large floral designs, clashing yet somehow harmonizing in their quirkiness.
Over her shoulders, she had a loose, oversized jacket patched together with different materials and textures, including bright, mismatched patches of fabric in hues of blue, green, and yellow. Her shirt was a kaleidoscope of swirling shapes.
The second clone was dressed in a way that would turn heads anywhere. Her outfit was revealing and bold, radiating confidence. She wore a fitted top with a neckline that plunged deep, emphasizing her curves with delicate lace edges that clung to her shoulders. Her skirt was daringly short, barely grazing her thighs, and slit on one side to reveal even more.
Her sleeves were translucent and draped elegantly down her arms, fluttering whenever she moved. Each piece hugged her figure just right, highlighting every contour.
In stark contrast, the third clone was the epitome of elegance and modesty. She wore a soft, flowing gown in gentle pastel shades, with a high neckline that wrapped around her collarbone. The fabric draped beautifully over her frame, cinching at the waist and then falling in graceful folds down to her ankles. The sleeves were long and billowing, tapering delicately at her wrists.
The fourth clone, dressed in boyish clothes, had a refreshing, relaxed charm. She wore a pair of loose, tan trousers that hung low on her hips, giving her an effortlessly casual look. Her shirt was tucked in messily, with one side slightly untucked, and the sleeves rolled up to her elbows. The collar was left open, showing just a hint of collarbone, adding a bit of subtle allure.
Over it all, she wore a short, fitted vest, lending her outfit an androgynous appeal that was both practical and stylish.
And finally, the fifth clone stood completely nude, with a calm, expression. She held herself confidently, showing no hint of embarrassment as if her nakedness was as natural as the others' outfits.
The clone in the strange, mismatched outfit grinned at Maris, her eyes filled with mischief. "Well, aren't we a colorful bunch? I call dibs on any pranks we pull." She gave a playful wink, her mismatched outfit somehow suiting her quirky personality.
The revealingly dressed clone rolled her eyes, crossing her arms with a smirk. "Please, if we're going to represent Maris, we might as well look good doing it. You should follow my example—bold, confident, and a little seductive." She posed, tilting her chin up as if she were about to step onto a runway.
"Seductive isn't necessary," the modestly dressed clone replied, her voice calm and steady. She looked at Maris with gentle eyes. "I'm here to support you, to help in any way that's respectable and proper." She gave a soft smile, hands clasped in front of her.
The clone in boyish clothes leaned against the wall, arms folded, watching the others with an amused smirk. "I'm just here to do the job, no frills attached. But honestly, all this fuss about outfits? Who cares? Let's get to work." Her voice was laid-back, almost nonchalant.
Maris finally looked at the last clone, who was, unsurprisingly, unfazed by her lack of clothing. She raised her chin, unbothered by the stares she was getting. "Clothes are restrictive, anyway. I can help Maris best if I'm entirely unencumbered." Her tone was calm and matter-of-fact, as if this was the most logical decision.
The real Maris felt a flush creep into her cheeks, completely at a loss for how to respond to these versions of herself. "Um… thank you all for appearing. I'll need your help in locating Kerum," she started hesitantly, unsure how to handle this unique situation.
The revealingly dressed clone sighed dramatically, flipping her hair over her shoulder. "Obviously. Just tell us what to do, Maris-sama, and I'll make sure we're irresistible while doing it."
The boyish clone chuckled. "As long as we don't waste time posing, I'm good with that."
"Posing can be important, too," the modest clone said gently. "After all, we represent you, Maris, and we should do it gracefully."
Mismatched outfit clone snorted. "Oh please! Grace and decorum are overrated. I say we just dive in and have some fun with it. Besides, who knows what we might find?" She waggled her eyebrows with a mischievous glint in her eye.
"Alright, everyone, let's focus. We'll scan for Kerum in five different areas. I trust each of you but..." Maris snap her finger and revealing one dress changed to modest dress and naked Maris also got a dress covering.
"My skin is only for Lucan-sama, so I won't let you show it to anyone else... Understand?"
"Ugh... Okay," The revealing cloth girl was upset but accepted. She decided to wear most revealing dress in front of Lucan if she ever got the chance.
"This dress made me loss 90% of my power," The naked Maris said as she looked at her dress.
"It's okay, the 10% is enough for me... Now everyone... Please help me on this."
The clone nodded and five of them left.
--
As they were going, suddenly they thought. They couldn't be called the Maris, they should have some names. So they sit together and thought name for themselves.
The five clones looked at each other, sizing up their appearances and personalities. After a moment, the one in the chaotic mix of patterns laughed, shaking her head.
The mismatch dress titled her head and told them, "I like Patch name. From now on, I be called Patch."
"Good for you, and I like word Bold, so I'm going with that," The revealing dress Maris said.
"Grace, my suit me best," The modest dress Maris said.
"Hm... Ace is good," The boyish Maris said.
"For me... Nake," the naked Maris said.
"Okay, now that we decided our names, let's go and complete our mission," Bold said and everyone nodded as they headed out.
---
Each clone arrived at their assigned location, taking a deep breath before activating their scan ability. They focused, letting their senses expand, spreading over the vast area within 2000 km.

Bold pressed her hand to the ground, closing her eyes. Her senses stretched out, sweeping over plains, mountains, forests, and towns. But after a few minutes, she sighed, crossing her arms in frustration.
"Nothing here, just empty land. Typical." She huffed, leaning back, slightly annoyed.
---
Grace knelt softly on the grass, hands pressed together as if in prayer. She took a deep breath and extended her senses, feeling the energy of every blade of grass and drop of water.
After a long silence, she opened her eyes with a gentle sigh.
"Nothing... only open fields and peaceful villages." She smiled a little, not minding the quietness.
---
Patch sat down, her mismatched clothes catching the light as she looked around, tilting her head with curiosity.
"Alright, let's see what we've got here!" She focused, her senses spreading over forests, rivers, and rocky hills. After a few moments, she frowned, pursing her lips.
"Ugh, just empty." She sighed, rolling her eyes.
---
Ace, standing with a confident stance, extended her senses with precision, searching through every corner of her radius. She scanned mountains, lakes, and deserted ruins, but there was nothing unusual.
"Nada. Just wilds and some towns," she muttered, adjusting her collar.
---
Finally, Nake reached her location. She stood calmly, closed her eyes, and activated her scan ability. Her senses spread out, instantly picking up on something unusual—a small world hidden within a secluded area of dense forest.
Inside, she could sense a single presence.
Her breath hitched.
It was Archpriest Kerum. Injured, lying on the ground, his life force faint but stable.
"I found him," Nake whispered to herself. She could see him clearly in her mind: Kerum, weakened and struggling, but alive.
Pretty soon she contacted others, and went in the small world. First she healed Kerum using her magic, but after being spilt in five clones, Maris power also divided into 6 parts.
So, Nake can't heal Kerum completely, but it's not problem to make sure he stay alive.
Then, she used her ability to scan entire small world, and she found the traces of black substance, That took away Nyx.
It was great discovery. Nake immediately took Kerum out of small world and headed to home.
Once she reached the home, Maris called back all clones and then healed the Kerum in instant.
