Chapter 654: Chapter 654: A Hug_1Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Gerald Graves was good at enjoying life and knew how to fire a gun, but only to show off; he was clueless about firearms. Asking him about gun models was like asking him about the vintages of wine!

In his panic, he fumbled around, holding various firearms with a clueless expression, having no idea what a TAC50 was.

“…Is this it?” Gerald asked Purple Summers, lifting a long one.

Purple Summers shook her head, “That’s a submachine gun.”

A few wealthy young masters turned their faces and said, “Those people are ignoring us now!”

Harassment could only be effective for a short while. Once the other party realized Purples Summers and the rest were trying to divert their fire, they would no longer be fooled.

Moreover, the longer the time dragged on, the more disadvantageous it became for them, as Gavin Graves’ reinforcements could arrive at any moment. They had to race against time and quickly sweep through the entire Graves Residence!

“Continue firing,” Purple Summers said. “Even if it can slightly cover Young Master Graves and Master Xander, it’s better than doing nothing!”

As they talked, a sudden inspiration struck Gerald’s mind.

“Ah!” he remembered something and, without regard for the astonished looks from Purple Summers and the others, turned and dove towards the bookshelf in the room.

Gerald swept all the books off the shelf and felt around the inside until he found a hidden switch, which he immediately pressed—

A section of the bookshelf swung open with a clang, revealing a huge black weapon hidden in the wall.

“Will this, will this do?” Gerald asked, panting, to Purple Summers.

“Damn!” One of the knowledgeable wealthy young masters recognized it and said in shock, “Second young master, your brother actually has a rocket launcher stashed at home!”

A rocket launcher could blast away an armored vehicle, much more powerful than a sniper rifle!

Purple Summers walked over and thoroughly examined the weapon. Then she turned and asked them, “Who here knows how to use a rocket launcher?”

Everyone exchanged glances.

This was not something simple like an ordinary handgun; it was absolutely forbidden from being sold to the public. They had never even seen a real one, let alone used it.

Purple Summers was at a loss for a moment but then decisively took out the rocket launcher and began assembling the parts.

Everyone watched her in shock. “Ms. Summers… you know how to use this?”

Purple Summers shook her head, “Theoretically, yes, but I’ve never actually operated one. I attended a lecture on military theory once.”

Everyone thought: Grey’s school offers military theory classes? That’s really high-class!

“Don’t just stand there, help me carry it over,” Purple Summers commanded them.

The weapon was big and heavy, and she, a girl alone, couldn’t possibly move it by herself.

Two men together lifted the rocket launcher and with a clatter, placed it on the window sill!

Purple Summers pulled over a chair under the window, shook out her skirt, and stepped on it, hoisting the rear end of the rocket launcher onto her right shoulder.

Her eyes narrowed, shining like bright stars in the night.

Everyone in the room held their breath in unison. At that moment, no one could hear the chaotic gunfire downstairs; all they saw was Purple Summers pulling the trigger and the missile launching with fierce speed!—

Boom!

The explosion’s thunderous noise and the flash of flame illuminated Purple Summers’ beautiful visage—bewitchingly beautiful, her long black hair flowing with the wind, like a blossoming Black Rose, for a moment, she seemed like a goddess descending.

Purple Summers exhaled softly.

As she put down the rocket launcher and turned around, she saw everyone in the room, men and women alike, staring at her in dumbfounded silence.

“What’s wrong?” Purple Summers smiled, “Worried I missed? Don’t worry, I hit the target.”

Jane McCain rushed over and tightly embraced Purple Summers, wanting to say something, but no words came out.

She was too moved!

She was proud of Purple Summers!

Zara Jameson also came over and gently hugged them both.

Ryan Wesley: “…”

Well, he restrained himself.

The others looked at them with envying and resentful eyes, and actually… they also wanted to join in the hug.
