Chapter 274 A busy night
Daniela stood in front of the mirror in her bedroom, biting her lower lip with a mischievous smile as she looked at her collection of lingerie spread out on the bed.
Her eyes sparkled with excitement as her hands glided over the delicate fabrics, carefully choosing which piece she would wear to surprise Strax that night.
"Cassandra and Belatrix may be good with magic and swords, but I know they don't have the guts for it," she muttered to herself, her smile becoming even more mischievous. "They'll hesitate, think too much, while I... I won't miss this opportunity."
She picked up a black lace set, holding it against her body as she looked into the mirror. The lace was transparent in all the right places, revealing, without revealing too much, her smooth skin. The straps were thin, almost non-existent, and the design made her curves stand out perfectly.
"Hmm, sexy, but perhaps a little too obvious..." She set the outfit aside and went back to rummaging through the pieces.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
Her gaze stopped on a red set with gold details. The color was vibrant, full of passion, and Daniela smiled at her reflection in the mirror. "Now, this... this will remind him why he called me his wife." Find exclusive stories on empire
She tried the garment on, adjusting the straps and making sure the neckline was exactly as she wanted it: provocative, but with a touch of elegance. "Perfect," she said, turning to analyze every angle.
As she looked at herself, her mind began to wander.
She thought of how Strax had looked at her earlier, his confident smile and intense gaze that seemed to cross any barrier she tried to put up.
Daniela loved that about him - the boldness, the strength, but above all, the way he made her heart race and her body react without her even realizing it.
"He said he'd wait for me in his room..." She murmured, feeling a shiver run down her spine. "And I won't let him down."
She slid her hands down her body, adjusting her lingerie one last time before picking up a light silk cape to partially cover herself. "Nothing too obvious... yet."
As she walked towards the door, her mind was full of perverted thoughts. "Will he pull me into bed straight away? Or will he want some foreplay?" She laughed to herself, the idea of Strax trying to keep his composure while she teased him being almost hilarious.
Daniela stopped in front of Strax's bedroom door, taking a deep breath to calm the nervousness that was beginning to creep in. Despite her confidence, she couldn't help the heat in her cheeks and the slight trembling in her hands.

Belatrix was in her own room, sitting on the edge of the bed, biting her lower lip as she stared at the cupboard. Indecision was stamped on every line of her face. Her fingers drummed on her thigh, and her mind was a whirlwind of thoughts.
"I can't do this... I can't be as impulsive as Daniela," she muttered, trying to convince herself. But the image of Strax, with that confident smile and mesmerizing gaze, wouldn't leave her mind.
She stood up abruptly and opened the closet, her eyes roaming the shelves where some of the more daring garments were folded neatly. Her fingers stopped on a black camisole made of silk, with lace details that left little to the imagination.
"Why the hell do I even have this?" She muttered, pulling the garment out and holding it in front of her as she looked into the mirror.
The reflected image made her cheeks blush instantly. The garment highlighted her pale skin and outlined her curves in an almost cruel way. She tried to push the thought away, but her mind was already traveling.
"My sisters... have been with him..." The thought hammered at the back of her mind. Daniela, ever the daredevil, had probably already been in his room, and Cassandra, with all her more reserved posture, had confessed something similar.
Belatrix felt a pang of frustration. "I'm the only one who's still not... who's still alone."
She threw her nightgown on the bed, crossing her arms. "No, I don't have to do that. I'm not like them." But the heat on her face and the restlessness in her chest told another story.
She sat back down on the bed, trying to take a deep breath and clear her mind. But the perverted thoughts kept coming, each one more audacious than the last. She imagined Strax smiling at her the way he did, pulling her around the waist, whispering things in her ear...
"Argh!" she moaned, covering her face with her hands. "I'm not like that! I can't let myself get carried away!"
But deep down, she knew it was a lie. She wanted to. She wanted to know what it was like to be the focus of that penetrating gaze. She wanted to feel his hands on her skin, to hear his husky voice calling her name.
Belatrix looked at the sweater again. A part of her told her to take it, put it on, and just go to his room. But another part, the more rational part, said that this was madness, that she shouldn't act impulsively.
"I can't be left behind... I can't be the only one who..." She whispered to herself, biting her lip again.
The clock in the corner of the room ticked away, the seconds ticking by as if mocking her indecision. Every moment she hesitated seemed like an eternity, and the pressure only increased.
Finally, she jumped to her feet, grabbed her sweater and held it tightly. "I... I'm not going to lose to them. Not this time."
But at the same time, her hands were shaking as she prepared herself. Her heart was pounding, anxiety mixing with desire. Belatrix knew that, deep down, she was torn between the fear of exposing herself and the desire to take courage.
She looked in the mirror one last time, now wearing a tight-fitting nightgown, her hair falling loosely over her shoulders. "If I'm going to do this, I have to do it right..."
However, even though she was ready, she hesitated. She stood in front of the door for long minutes, her hand on the handle, her gaze fixed on the empty corridor.
"Maybe... maybe he's already busy. Maybe this is a mistake..."
But another thought crossed her mind, and it was enough to make her open the door and take the first step: "If I don't go, I'll always wonder what it would have been like."
And so, with her heart in her throat and her legs trembling, Belatrix began to walk down the corridor towards Strax's room.

Cassandra was in her room, the door locked and her head buzzing with thoughts. Unlike her sisters, she had always considered herself the most controlled, the most rational. But that night, everything seemed to fall apart.
She was standing in front of her dressing table, looking at a selection of lingerie she had taken out of the cupboard. Her fingers touched a piece of blue lace, delicate and provocative, with intricate details that were both elegant and sensual.
"Daniela, that airhead..." Cassandra murmured, squeezing the lingerie in her hands. "She can't just think she's going to monopolize him. I won't let her."
The thought of Daniela throwing herself into Strax's arms made Cassandra's blood boil. It wasn't just jealousy, but a possessiveness that was growing by the second. After all, Strax wasn't just any man. He was the man. Strong, confident, charismatic... and he had looked at her with that sparkle in his eyes.
She swallowed as she remembered his gaze, which seemed to undress her soul and promise worlds. Her body reacted instantly, a heat rising up her cheeks and down her belly. She looked down at the lingerie in her hands and then at the mirror.
"This is ridiculous," she said to herself, even though the excitement was clear in her eyes.
But, as much as she tried to deny it, she knew it wasn't just Daniela who was bothering her. It was Belatrix too. Both had already been close to him in ways she had only dreamed of. Cassandra, always so proud of her composure, was now being consumed by the idea that she might be left behind.
"No... I won't let that happen."
She sighed and picked up another garment. It was black, a combination of lace and satin that highlighted her curves. She held it against her body, watching her reflection in the mirror. "It's simple, but... effective."
Cassandra turned and walked over to the bed, where more lingerie was spread out. A burgundy bra caught her eye. It was daring, with a deep neckline and details that left her skin partially exposed.
"Maybe this one..." she murmured, running her fingers over the details. But then she shook her head in frustration. "Why does it matter so much? I should be above these things."
She tried to convince herself, but the truth was that jealousy and desire were consuming her. It was more than a competition with her sisters. It was about Strax. He made her heart beat faster, made her mind lose itself in thoughts she had never dared to have before.
Finally, after many minutes of indecision, Cassandra chose a combination that was both elegant and daring: a burgundy silk camisole that fell perfectly over her curves, with a transparent robe that left the garment provocatively exposed.
She looked at herself in the mirror again, adjusting her hair and trying to calm down. But the excitement was clear in her eyes, and her body was hot, as if she could already feel his presence.
"I'm not doing this out of jealousy..." she mumbled, trying to convince herself. "It's just... to make sure that Daniela and Belatrix know that they can't walk all over me."
But she knew that wasn't true. Deep down, she wanted Strax too. She wanted to feel his hands on her skin, to hear his husky voice calling out to her.
Cassandra took out a small bottle of perfume and sprayed it lightly on her neck. "All right, Strax... if you think you're going to ignore me tonight, you're sorely mistaken."
With one last look in the mirror, she left the room, walking down the corridor with determined steps, her heart beating fast. "I won't lose to anyone. Not to Daniela, not to Belatrix."

Strax was sitting on his bed, his mother's book still open on his knees. He was trying to absorb what he had learned, but his mind insisted on wandering to more... earthly thoughts.
He had been clear in his provocation earlier, but he hadn't expected them to really take up the challenge.
With a sigh, he closed the book and stood up, feeling a slight tension in his shoulders. "Well, maybe they backed down... it would be easier that way," he muttered, walking to the door.
When he opened it, however, he cracked a huge smile.
"Looks like I'm in for a pretty... Busy..." He said, looking at Daniela who was in front, Belatrix a little behind, Cassandra arriving...
