Building A Business Empire From Scratch In Another World

Chapter 168 : Divine Ability

"It's you!" Trinity gasped softly as recognition dawned upon her face.

Trinity's eyes widened in shock as she surveyed the sea of faces surrounding them. Anger surged through her veins, igniting a fierce determination within.

Just meters away stood a formidable group of around a thousand Adventurers, all clad in matching red and black armor emblazoned with a wolf symbol on their left sleeves.

The air crackled with their bloodthirsty energy; it was clear these weren't ordinary foes.

Each one had likely traversed mountains of corpses to reach this point, none were weak.

"Lyrius! It's you!" Melian gasped, her voice barely above a whisper, disbelief etched across her features as she recognized the man at the forefront.

"How can you be so shameless? Ambushing us like this?" Aegnor's voice dripped with fury as he glared at Lyrius.

"Oh come on," Lyrius replied with an infuriating grin. "This is just how things work! Besides, I need to take my revenge for what you did."

He stood tall and slender, appearing to be in his thirties, dressed in sleek black and red armor.

His long face wore a scheming expression, narrowed eyes radiating a dark aura that made him seem even more menacing.

"What do you mean revenge?" Melian shot back angrily. "We already rejected your offer to become vassals under the Battle Wolves Adventurer Team! We haven't done anything to you or your team!"

"Hahaha! You really think I wouldn't find out about Ventura and his men? Oh yes, I know everything," Lyrius chuckled darkly. "Today, your Morningstar Adventurer Team will join them in the underworld."

"Yes, we killed him and his men," Trinity said calmly. "He was nothing but a nuisance."

"Captain Trinity," Lyrius said with mock admiration, "I truly admire your courage. Don't worry, I'll ensure your deaths are swift... and painfully memorable."

"What makes you think you can kill all of us? If we wanted to escape, there's nothing you could do to stop us!" Aegnor challenged defiantly.

"Hehehehe! Do you really believe I came here unprepared?" Lyrius smirked wickedly before continuing.

"The entire area has been sealed off, a 7 Star Mana Barrier surrounds us for thousands of miles! My people are stationed throughout this radius; there's no way for you to escape, you're completely trapped and vastly outnumbered!"

Trinity's heart sank as she exchanged worried glances with Brixton and the others; their expressions mirrored her growing dread.

Hastily closing her eyes, Trinity reached out with her soul sense to scan their surroundings.

Moments later, she opened her eyes again, her face pale and grim. The reality of their situation was undeniable.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"So, Captain Trinity, your Adventurer Team is about to make history!"*Lyruis cackled, a wicked grin spreading across his face.

Suddenly, the massive creature embedded in the ground began to tremble violently before launching itself toward Lyruis and his crew.

In a breathtaking moment, a colossal green hand emerged, catching the gigantic broadsword mid-air.

Standing there was, a fearsome orc with bulging muscles encased in heavy armor and a grotesque visage that radiated bloodlust.

He wielded the enormous broadsword effortlessly.

"Captain, that's Throk!" Aegnor whispered urgently, leaning closer with a grave expression. "He's an incredible powerhouse, Tier 7 Legendary Knight level strength!"

"I can see that," Trinity replied, her brow furrowed in concern.

In an instant, ten streaks of light shot through the air, revealing ten formidable figures clad in armor mirroring Lyruis's own. Each bore a wolf symbol emblazoned on their left arms.

"Damn! How can there be another ten Tier 7 Legendary Knights? And two of them are Tier 7 Legendary Mages! How are we supposed to escape?" Melian cursed under her breath.

"Surprised?" Lyruis chuckled darkly. "As I mentioned before, none of you will escape unscathed. No one dares cross paths with us, the Battle Wolves, and lives to tell the tale."

Trinity's heart sank; admitting she had a plan to defeat Lyruis and his forces would be pure folly.

They were hopelessly outnumbered, not just in terms of sheer numbers but also in skill and power.

Among her Morningstar Adventurer Team members, only she, Brixton, Aegnor, and Melian stood any chance against this overwhelming force.

The recent ambush had already decimated their ranks; they were down to fewer than eighty fighters now.

Facing off against a thousand seasoned warriors felt like an impossible task, just those eleven Tier 7 Mana Cultivators alone could easily handle them all!

Trinity's expression was serious as she narrowed her eyes, addressing the others with a calm yet commanding tone. "Alright, everyone, listen up! Our first priority is to take out the two Mages. Since they're Mages, their close-combat skills are likely lacking. We need to eliminate them quickly before they can react, focus all our firepower on those two. Understood?"

"Yes, Captain!" the three responded in unison.

"But big sis, what about the thousand Adventurers?" Brixton interjected, concern etched on his face.

"That's exactly what I was getting to," Trinity replied, her gaze steely. "I have a large area-effect attack ready, but it will cost me a lot, I might not be able to fight if I used this attack".

She continued with urgency, "You all must take down those two Mages before anyone else can react. Brixton, how far can your Gravitational Crush and Earth Binding abilities reach?"

"Four hundred meters," Brixton answered confidently.

"Perfect," Trinity nodded approvingly. "Use those abilities on the thousand Adventurers, especially targeting those two mages.

They need to be eliminated as soon as possible while I work on reducing their numbers." With a swift motion, her long golden spear materialized in her hand.

Meanwhile, Brixton summoned the massive double axes from his back, earthen yellow energy crackling around him like lightning.

Melian and Aegnor prepared themselves as they eyed Lyruis and his men lurking in the distance.

"Are you done with your planning?" Lyruis scoffed disdainfully. "Even with a perfect strategy, you'll never escape from here."

"Attack!" he roared suddenly, his eyes bloodshot and filled with murderous intent.

"Brixton now!" Trinity shouted back as a golden aura enveloped her body; she propelled herself twenty meters into the air.

In an instant, Brixton began to grow, his body expanding rapidly:

2 meters...

5 meters...

10 meters...

15 meters...

17 meters...

25 meters...

Within moments he towered over 25 meters tall, a small mountain of raw power radiating an overwhelming pressure.

Gravitational Cush!

Earth Binding!

BOOOOOM.

An immense force crashed down upon Lyruis and his men who were caught completely off guard by the sudden turn of events.

From Lyruis's command to attack to Trinity's soaring leap and Brixton's colossal transformation, all unfolding in less than a second.

Before they could react further, it felt as if an entire mountain had landed on their backs; they were immobilized under its weight.

Looking down in horror, they realized that the earth below had morphed into long tentacles binding them firmly to the ground.

Lyruis's face transformed in an instant, his eyes widening with shock as a wave of dread washed over him.

He looked up, and to his horror, the sky had turned a brilliant gold.

A colossal golden magic circle loomed above, intricately woven with smaller circles that spiraled into its center.

The surrounding mana within a hundred-meter radius was being drained, pulled toward the massive golden circle beneath which Trinity floated ominously.

Trinity emanated an aura so terrifying that it felt almost palpable; her long golden hair whipped around her like flames in the wind.

Suddenly, she opened her eyes, completely golden, and the very space around her trembled as if it were on the brink of shattering.

Looking down at Lyruis and his men, l, trapped and powerless, her expression remained eerily calm and serene, devoid of any emotion as ishr was a completely different person.

It was as if she regarded them merely as ants beneath her gaze, utterly unsympathetic to their plight.

Like a higher being or lifeform looking down on mortals.

"What kind of gaze is that ?" Lyrusi wondered as he felt his soul trembled by Trinity gaze.

"Big sis! Hurry up! I can't hold on anymore!" Brixton shouted desperately, his face flushed and blood seeping from his body.

Trinity glanced at him briefly before pointing at Lyruis and his men.

In an instant, the enormous golden magic circle began to spin slowly at first but quickly escalated into a dizzying whirlpool of light.

From its center emerged a long spear, a deep blood-red weapon that seemed to pulse with malevolence.

As it materialized, the sky shifted hues once more, now drenched in crimson.

The air thickened with the scent of blood and death; it was nothing short of terrifying.

Lyruis and his men froze in fear as they sensed their impending doom.

The mere thought of that spear descending upon them sent chills through their very souls.

"Everyone! We need to escape NOW or we'll die!" Lyruis shouted frantically, panic replacing his earlier bravado.

Just then, he felt Brixton's abilities waning.

"Ahhhhhh!" Lyruis screamed as dense black mana enveloped him; the gravitational force pressuring him exploded while earth-like tendrils binding him shattered into pieces.

With explosive speed, he vanished from where he stood, and miraculously, so did eleven other Tier 7 Mana Cultivators.

But just as they escaped, the blood-red spear shot forth from the golden magic circle towards those unfortunate adventurers still trapped below.

Wherever it passed, space twisted violently under its power.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
