Chapter 129: A princess carry



After massacring the beast army over a year ago, Yun Wuji soon broke through to the Divine Origin Realm by absorbing their profound cores. Following his breakthrough, he attempted to use his senses to locate the Primordial Profound Ark.

The Primordial Profound Ark, also known as the Spirit World of Heaven and Earth or the Universe Spirit Realm, was created by Ni Xuan using the World Piercer and was bestowed upon the Sword Spirit God Clan.

At the end of the Era of the Gods, a survivor of the Sword Spirit God Clan took the Primordial Profound Ark in search of the Sky Poison Pearl to save her mistress, Hong'er, who was also the daughter of Ni Xuan.

The survivor from the Sword Spirit God Clan had been reduced to nothing but a spirit on the brink of death. For three hundred years, she had been using the Primordial Profound Ark to teleport across different locations and dimensions, desperately searching for the Sky Poison Pearl to cure Hong'er.

If Yun Wuji waited two years, the Primordial Profound Ark would eventually appear above Divine Phoenix City, and he could enter from there. However, Yun Wuji wasn't willing to waste that much time.

He wanted to reach the God Realm as soon as Jasmine fully recovered her strength. Yun Wuji had already devised a perfect plan to help her reach the 10th level of Divine Master and take over the Star God Realm.

Yun Wuji watched intently. Although he had never witnessed a battle between Divine Masters and had no direct understanding of their strength, he couldn't help but recall a conversation from the novel.

When Yun Wuxin had asked Qianye Ying'er how strong she was, Qianye Ying'er had replied that if she simply released her aura, she could destroy the entire Blue Pole Star.

This alone shows how strong a Divine Master is.

After spreading her senses for a few minutes, Jasmine suddenly said, "I found it!"

"Really?! Then let's go there right away!" Yun Wuji said, his voice full of excitement. He quickly urged her to take him there.

"WTF, Jasmine? Put me down!" By the time Yun Wuji realized what had happened, he was already in her arms, tens of thousands of meters above the ground. He shouted angrily, struggling slightly in her grip.

"Hehehe, hold on tight, we're getting close," Jasmine chuckled, completely ignoring the angry look on Yun Wuji's face as she flew even faster.

Dozens of minutes later, she arrived in front of the incomparably enormous Primordial Profound Ark. As far as the eye could see, the Ark was so enormous one simply couldn't even see its borders, it was softly glowing with a deep red color.

"Fuck! I will make you pay for this!" Yun Wuji jumped from her arms and cursed, then he said, "No more food for you!" He pointed at her, delivering the most dreadful punishment. "What?! You dare?!" Jasmine exclaimed, her eyes wide with surprise. She pointed at him, accusing, "This princess is your master! What's the big deal with playing a prank on you? And you actually dare to threaten me?!"

"Hmph! So what?!" Yun Wuji shrugged nonchalantly, clearly unimpressed. "I suffered mental damage, so I can no longer cook for you. Sorry."

"Hmph! Bastard!" Jasmine snorted, crossing her arms and turning her head away in annoyance.

Yun Wuji focused his attention on the Primordial Profound Ark, noticing an indistinct, colorless, and formless aura field floating above its surface. As soon as his spiritual sense made contact with this aura field, it was completely cut off, leaving him unable to detect any activity inside the Profound Ark.

Right in front of his line of sight, an impressive "door" appeared on the surface of the Profound Ark. The door was fifteen meters wide, with a profound light imprint flashing across its surface, flickering on and off. The flickering of the profound energy seal gave the sense that it was about to disappear at any moment.

"It seems that I'm still lucky, heh." Yun Wuji smiled to himself as he muttered under his breath. One of his worries had been what would happen if he found the Profound Ark but couldn't enter it.

Fortunately, it seems that won't be a problem after all.

The reason the Profound Ark traveled continuously was to search for the Sky Profound Pearl. Every time it stopped, the doors would open, allowing 36 people inside.

The door would remain open for only twenty-four hours, and once that time passed, the doors would close, and the Ark would teleport away.

Right now, Yun Wuji saw that the profound energy seal was about to disappear, which meant he would be able to enter the Profound Ark in just a few minutes.

"Hey, are you really angry at me? This princess was just pranking you, don't be such a killjoy," Jasmine noticed he was really ignoring her and spoke with a slightly softer tone.

Before Yun Wuji could reply, the profound seal on the ark's door suddenly stopped flickering, and then slowly disappeared. The door of the Profound Ark, which had been shut tight, began to creak open with an ear-piercing sound.

The door to the Primordial Profound Ark opened extremely slowly, taking several dozen breaths before it finally opened completely. Behind it, an incomprehensibly pitch-black vortex swirled rapidly, spinning like an ocean whirlpool.

"Let's go in," Yun Wuji said, then flew straight toward the entrance. The moment his body made contact with the swirling vortex, he was swallowed up by it, disappearing completely. "Hey, wait for this princess!" Jasmine shouted, her voice laced with annoyance, and quickly followed him into the vortex.

Yun Wuji appeared inside the Profound Ark and scanned his surroundings. An endless dark green grassland stretched out before him, merging with the dusky sky at the horizon.

"Master, I sense the aura of the World Piercer here," Hei Xiaolian said as she appeared next to him.

"I know, this Profound Ark was originally created using it," Yun Wuji nodded at her while spreading his senses, searching for the Ancient Fortress. A few seconds later, he located it.

"Found it!"

"What did you find, master?" Hei Xiaolian asked, curious.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"You'll know later," Yun Wuji said casually as he prepared to take off.

However, at this moment, a figure descended from the sky in front of him.

Who else could it be but Jasmine? She crossed her arms and asked, "Where are you going?"

When people enter the Profound Ark, they don't all land in the same location; they'd end up in different spots randomly. But Jasmine, being a Divine Master, sensed Yun Wuji in an instant

and appeared right by his side.

"Looking for someone," Yun Wuji said, then his body transformed into a streak of light and

flew off.

"Hmph! So narrow-minded," Jasmine muttered, following him. She didn't expect him to be

this angry over a prank.

In reality, Yun Wuji wasn't really angry. He and Hei Xiaolian had trolled and pranked Jasmine plenty of times, so it was no big deal to him.

His promise not to cook for her was just a casual remark, not the first time he had said it. Right now, he was more focused on the Profound Ark and didn't pay attention to her, which gave her the misconception that he was angry at her.

While flying across the vast grassland, a dark blue wall suddenly appeared in front of Yun Wuji. It was so tall that it blocked the view of the sky, and so wide that its ends couldn't be

seen!

Directly in front of him, the bluish-black wall had an open stone door. The stone door was three hundred meters tall and three hundred meters wide. Everywhere else, there were many stone windows, each tens of meters tall and wide. Between the windows stretched a grey expanse, making it impossible to tell what was inside.

"The Ancient Fortress!" Yun Wuji said as he landed.

"From the looks of it, it probably is an ancient massive fortress!" Jasmine said as she

followed him. "Its aura is extremely old, likely from the Primordial Era. It might have existed

alongside the Primordial Profound Ark, not something built later."

"You've been targeting it from the very beginning. What exactly are you looking for?"

Jasmine asked, giving him a curious look.

"You won't believe me even if I told you. You'll understand when you see it yourself," Yun Wuji replied casually and stepped through the massive door, entering the fortress.
